Dr. Claudia Hernandez

 

Dr. Claudia Hernandez is a Weslaco native. She attended the University of Texas Pan American where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science.  After college, Dr. Hernandez studied dentistry at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston where she received her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree in 2006.  Dr. Hernandez practiced general dentistry in South Texas until 2009. She then moved to Houston to complete a two-year specialty program in pediatric dentistry at the University of Texas Dental Branch where she was chief resident.  In 2011 Dr. Hernandez completed a Master of Science in Dentistry and a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry.  Dr. Hernandez is a diplomate in the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. 

Dr. Hernandez is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Texas Dental Association and the Rio Grande Valley Dental Association.
